It would be a very unusual in a Will dispute for any type of caveat to be warranted or legal. A probate caveat is only relevant when Challenging a Will and not when Contesting a Will. Please follow the two links to find out more about caveats in those cases.
Property caveats are rarely available in Will disputes cases and caveats placed improperly against property may result in legal costs orders against the person lodging the caveat.
